[Feature Request] Pixel area

Hi there! Thanks for using our plugin! This is the first request we’ve received for wanting to calculate the area of the highlighted area. This is somewhat tricky to do for shapes drawn on a canvas, and that’s even further complicated by the fact that our plugin is responsive, so the size of the shape would depend on the width of the screen at the time.

We can add this to the list of features we’ll consider adding if we get enough interest and requests. I’d love to hear a bit more about your use case and what you’re looking to do as well.

Thanks for you reply. I am trying to build an e-paper kind of site where they can draw a shape to get to know the size and price calculation of the area their ad is going to get featured.

I understand the complication of the pixel ratio messing up the size. May be I can try it making non responsive.
