    Hi,

This is a really good feature, I’m loving it.

However, there’s a slight practical issue. For every article that is Created/Synced/Updated, Facebook ‘scrapes’ the full version of that article as well. This is normally fine. However, when many posts are processed in mass, like 100s or even 1000s at a time, Cloudflare WAF blocks access to Facebook bots momentarily resulting in a HTTP error code (500/5xx).

Therefore, it would be good if there’s an interval option whereby, we can specify how many articles are synced per second or x number of posts per x seconds/milliseconds.

    Thanks,

    Hi Haneef,

Thanks for getting in touch and your suggestions (I’ll go through the others in a minute), you’re using a premium version of the plugin so can email our support directly just fyi, we tend to monitor it closer than this support forum if you need an answer quickly.

I’m really glad you love the feature!! That’s interesting and not a problem we’d anticipated to be honest, I’m actually surprised CloudFlare doesn’t have Facebook Whitelisted. Yes, we’re defiantly going to be making some changes to the sync interval (it’s a little too high for some other user’s servers to handle as well), we’re just debating how to go about it at the moment. We’re trying very hard not to clutter up the dashboard that much so as not to overwhelm users, at the moment we’re thinking about maybe putting it in an “Advanced Options” section that is mostly hidden but we’ll experiment a bit.

    All the best
