• Preload scheduling: I have several sites on one server using WP Super Cache with preload enabled. Today I reset the settings (# of posts and interval) on all of them. Then I realised that they are all going to start their preload within a few minutes of each other, creating significant load on the server. So currently, to avoid this, I have to go back and stagger the times that I make the preload settings on each site (say 4 hours between each settings application).

So, what would be really nice would be a way to schedule the preload with more than just the interval. Settings similar to the garbage collection would be nice (time of day, daily, weekly, etc.)

    Thanks!

Is there any chance of this happening?

P.S. A throttle on the preload would be awesome too!

Also what about providing a pre-load cache URL? Much like the ‘do not cache’ key, add a key that remotely allows you to preload the cache without needing to login to WP. One good reason for this is that it’d be possible to setup a script that visits the ‘pre-load cache’ URL periodically to refresh the site.
