I am trying to use your plugin on a site with 16,000 uploaded original images and it keeps failing half way. I think this is due to my internet connection more than anything else.

Still it’s very frustrating as if it fails I have to start over again when going back into the plugin.

Please please add an option to allow recovery from the last image converted.

Btw, tried the CLI already, didnt help me. I’d really prefer your plugin to handle this.

Can you provide more details around this? Were you running the script in the background so it wouldn’t get interrupted by a drop in the connection?

I’ve added a feature request for this, but it is highly recommended to use the CLI if possible.

    Hi Alex

Sorry for delayed response. I was just leaving my browser open on a particular site because it has 14,000 images that have to be iterated over.

Can I just clarify, if all images are up to date and correct and then via the functions file of my theme I define a new image dimension with add_image_size()…

Assuming “skip regenerating existing correctly sized thumbnails” IS checked, is the plugin still checking the dimensions of each media item at each defined image size of the WP install ? I assume it is for it to be able to skip.

WHat would be great is if you can get a checkbox list of all the image sizes defined in the install and to explicitly state against each which to even check/run against. I assume this would help speed it up.
