The next update will allow you to exclude the widget from specific post types and post formats.

You can now exclude the widget from specific post types and post formats under Appearance > Widget After Content

Is there a way to tell just the widget placed into the After Content widget area to not show in the post type or format?

For example, if I want to place one widget’s info to show up on posts and another widget with different content to show up on an image post format.

I guess what I am really asking is can those same options you added to the Appearance > After Widget Content show up in the actual widgets you place into the After content widget area… sot of like how when you add widget content plugin it adds the place to add the conditional tags in each widget you use.

The idea behind this plugin is to control the widget area. If you want to control individual widgets within the widget area I suggest you use a plugin such as widget logic and use a conditional tag such as has_post_format( 'image' ) or !has_post_format( 'image' )
