Feature Request: Theme-Independent Smooth Scrolling

Hi and thank you for your feedback. When I started this plugin I wanted to keep it dead simple. Because of many requests, I added things like the collapse menu and smooth scrolling among other things. These features are hard to maintain because they have to work in many themes. So please understand that SimpleTOC will always be simple. I currently have no plans to add more (optional) JS and CSS to the plugin.

Your approach makes sense. Thanks for explaining it.

Just encountered this; not sure if you’re aware of it:

}

Smooth scroll can be implemented via CSS.
