• A theme selection feature by number of menus (usually 1 to 4) would be a great enhancement to the user experience with regard to the rapid identification of themes most suited for complex websites (such as knowledge bases and forums).

Menus generally aren’t limited by the theme, as being able to manage menus is a core feature of WordPress: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

Hi James, thanks for your reply.

I was rather thinking about the number of menus which can be made visible through the theme template itself. If a theme enables only two menus, I will still be able to use the core features to create as many as I want, but will be seriously limited at front-end level.

This feedback should be directed at theme authors and not core. Which theme are you using? I understand you may want this improvement for all themes, but practically contacting the author of the theme you’re using is the best next step.

    Hi Andrew,

To me it is more a core issue, since it is about optimizing my user experience with the WordPress Feature Filter in terms of search time:

It is not about fixing a specific theme in particular, it is about enabling me to quickly retrieve all themes best suited for a specific purpose.
