First of all, this plugin is terrific. It exactly solved my problem and I appreciate so much a free version for my non-profit client.

I submit the following request, not knowing how difficult this would be.

My client wants to be ADA compliant to forestall potential lawsuits and to meet audience needs. When using the WAVE checker on a product page, despite the existing label on the page, it fails the label with the following generic message:

“A <label> element: does not surround a form control and the for attribute is missing/empty references an element that is not present in the page
references an element that is not an <input>, <select> or <textarea> element
references an <input> element with image, submit, reset, button, or hidden type

If there is no visible label, either provide an associated label, add a descriptive title attribute to the form control, or reference the label(s) using aria-labelledby. Labels are not required for image, submit, reset, button, or hidden form controls.”

There IS a label immediately preceding the input field, so perhaps the addition of a “for” tag would be enough to pass?

In my area of the country, a significant number of my clients are going ADA compliant because they are being successfully sued. I know it’s a huge undertaking, but if this is a simple enough request, my pages would pass.

Thanks for your consideration, and again, thanks for an excellent plugin!
