Feature request to solve a bug with scheduled posts

Hi! I really love this plugin, but I found a small glitch. Also, I bring a posible solution to work it around.
When you use automatic social network posting like the one from JetPack plugin and also have set a default featured image with plugins like WordPress SEO, whenever a scheduled post is finally posted, the featured image will be in fact the one from the Video Thumbnails plugin, but the og:metadata will contain the default image from WordPress SEO.
The solution to this would be that you add a “Obtain Image” button to the widget in the post editor, so that one can retrieve the corresponding image and save the draft or schedule with it by default.
I’m pretty sure you even could add a filter to retrieve the image on every draft update. No matter if the post is being posted or draft saved, or being scheduled, the image should be retrieved always so the post is ready to be posted.
