Feature request: User roles

    Hi.

    Could you add the option to send the user role to CM?
    This would allow us to create segments in CM subscriber lists based on user roles.

    I used the wp_user_level (0-10) meta fields for this when I first set up the plugin but this field is long deprecated and it would be a little risky using it because I don’t know if it is still used, even as just a fallback, in some plugins or even core. At first I had 2 roles so I used wp_user_level 1 and 2, if something went wrong and wp_user_level was actually giving the site member access according to the value it wouldn’t be a big deal because wp_user_level 2 doesn’t give much access. Now tho I have 7 user roles, so if it went wrong that would give a group access level 3/4/5/6/7. Those used to give editor access, that’s too much for comfort.

    I contacted CM support first and said they’d like this feature added too (forgot they didn’t code this plugin) ??

    I am sorry, I do not plan to further extend this plugin for the free version.
