  • Hi there..is your site still up? I can’t access it any longer. I keep getting a 404 error. https://screencast.com/t/6E4qL3J2N6qU

OOPS Sorry, didn’t mean to post here. Unfortunately it won’t let me delete my post to move it.

    That’s okay.
The site is up again now. The server did go down for around 5 or 6 minutes last night but everything should be back up and working.

for manual payments – bank transfers — can the client either

    1) login to his dashboard and in the Invoice table have a upload tab which allows them to upload the PDF file of the bank remittance notice and this will also automatically trigger an email to the site admin that the invoice has been paid. — the table title could be upload Remittance Notice,…. it will NOT trigger the invoice to be paid on their end but will allow the site adim to login and change the status to paid.

Confirm Payment email from Admin Dashboard

    1) If a client does pay by bank transfer and the site owner see the Bank remittance notice, then they can login to the site admin dashboard and have a button that says ‘send PAID invoice’ notice.

    +1 for manual payments

    Allow partial payments too.

There is an extension you can purchase that allows you to do partial payments and you can use it as a deposit tool as well, I have it and it works fine.

Also when you check your bank online you can see what payments have been made then you can go in and change it to paid and send it off to the client. Or if you receive a partial payment or deposit you can go in and make the necessary changes with the extension and send off the invoice.

I am worried that all invoices are publicly available. What I would like to do is to include payment buttons in the email that’s sent with a PDF attached invoice. Is that possible now or is it a feature request?

@peterhuckle you can use the Secure Invoices Extension (https://slicedinvoices.com/extensions/secure-invoices/) to lock down invoices so they are not publicly available.

is it possible to add multiple products in 1 quote? and the customer can only select which one and check then that shows up as the total amount like 17hats

Can’t find anything mentioning this, and plugin not yet installed. Does your system manage overpayments as credits that can be applied to other invoices? Also, maybe I missed it, but is it possible to create lists of items that can be applied to any invoice?

I see that you do offer pre-defined line items now(thanks to a support thread I finally found). I’m curious about the rest of my “needs list”. Before I send an email, are these things already included?

    – Integrate with a timer and if so, which ones are supported and does the integration use re-useable line-items for invoicing?
    – Keep track of credits for clients and allow for overpayment of invoices as one way to create those credits. Apply credits to future invoices.
    – Expense area
    – reports that can be sent to a bookkeeper covering taxes, profit-loss, expenses, client reports, etc.
