Feature Specific Portfolio Items on Page(s)

Hey

I have a site that showcases various music groups, each of them has a separate page within the site that shows a short overview of the project. within these pages i want to include sections like ‘photos from this group’, ‘store offers from this group’ and so on.

the site has a main portfolio page with all of the photos and videos and a main webshop with all of the products, each sorted with categories. so i want to display on each individual group’s pages a selection of portfolio items from the relevant category (group name for instance).

is there a relatively simple way to do this?

I have been able to achieve this effect for the blog section through a plugin called List Category Posts that pulls items out of the main blog section with relevant categories, but can’t get it to do the same for the portfolio and store.

I am using Skyfashion theme 2.4.1 on wordpress 2.7.1
