This is great, but it’s tough for the non-technical website developer to determine what exactly to put in the “text/HTML to remove” box (and a nuisance even for the technically adept). It would be great if there were radio button options to replace specific HTML (the default), OR “the contents of the footer” (meaning everything inside the ‘footer’ element) and maybe another few options if you find it appropriate, but at least those two.

  • @tylertork – we were thinking of a PRO option where footer credits would automatically get picked and replace with whatever the user wants.

The price would be low-ish, like $4.99/yr for this and would be compatible with more than 100 themes to begin with.

Instead of removing the whole footer (and all other actions associated with it), we could have the plugins database automatically update from our servers. So whenever we add compatibility for a new theme, we just push it from our end, every plugin user gets it at his/her end.

    How does this sound? ??

    Thanks,
    Cristian.
