• Hi guy’s, thank you for this great plugin, it does exactly what it say’s on the label!

To make this plugin even better, I would like to suggest adding the option to automate changing the “Honey Pot Field Name”.
Maybe a dropdown with available timed options like, 1hr, 4hr, 12, 24hr etc or maybe an entry field for the user to enter there own time span. Could be set for daily or hourly timespans.

The reason for suggesting this, I have to change it daily in my case or I still get the spamming come back after 1 day.

Would be a great feature, what do you think?

    Hi @perce2,

Thanks for your suggestion! We did have the feature to automate changing the Honey Pot Field Name in the past. However, we had to remove it due to the excessive use of caching plugins. These plugins often cached the field name, and as a result, the same field was served even after it had been changed, which led to more false capture.

    Thanks for your response.

Sounds like that was more of a user lack of knowledge rather than a feature problem. Maybe a #note could be added to explain it’s use to cover any potential issue.
Any chance you could share the code for that feature please as we don’t show cached content?

    Hi Perce2,

These days, almost everyone uses an optimization plugin, and it has become a must for many.

We’re sorry, but that feature was implemented around two years ago, and for our extended version, we don’t have a code archive like www.ads-software.com.

    That’s a shame!
We have an extended version license if it helps…
    Thanks

    Hi @perce2,

We appreciate your support and your extended version license! While we don’t have an archive of that specific feature’s code, we’ll take your suggestion into consideration for future updates.
