  • Hi there,

    Great plugin – I tried four others before finding yours.

    I like the fact that you can show the bar again, but I’d love to be able to not have the tab floating over the bottom/top of the site continuously. Might you consider creating a way whereby a widget can be placed in the footer or a sidebar with text to the effect of:

    “You have chosen to accept/decline cookies. This decision can be reversed.”

    The ‘reversed’ could be a link/button which shows the bar again. What do you think?

    If I understand you correctly then you can already do that. You can disable the “show again” tab in the settings page. Then to allow a customer to reset the cookie then I’d add a note in your Privacy & Cookie Policy page and use the [delete_cookies] shortcode (see https://www.cookielawinfo.com/user-guide/). I wouldn’t personally advise taking up screen real estate with other cookie messages. Once you have consent, you have consent. You also offer a way of reversing that if visitors really want to.
