Feature suggestion: add support for tooltips

  • Up until now, there has been no standardized way to add tooltips to e.g., icons and buttons. Many workarounds have relied solely on CSS and not taken the accessibility issues into consideration. Now, we finally have a standardized way to add accessible tooltips through the popover API. Best of all, it’s supported by all browsers.

    A competing plugin recently added support for tooltips. Please consider adding tooltips settings to Spectra’s buttons, icons, headers, and maybe some other blocks where it makes sense.
