Feature Suggestion: Multiple Pages

I am using WordPress to build a short book. Each chapter is a page unto itself. It would be really cool if I could list the pages (or posts), specify the order, and your plugin would automatically generate a table of contents for the whole thing.

I realize this it probably beyond the scope of what you were planning. But there are very few plugins for writing a book — leaving most authors to either struggle with the existing ones, or manually creating their book among the pages. But still, there is no way to automatically generate a full table of contents.
