    We don’t want to force users to use a specific URL shortner.

    Twitter automatically shortens the link using their t.co.

    When i share link from my site, it does not get shorten. I also noticed an issue with my site. The first image below the floating bar gets displaced beside the sidebar

    Can you please post the link to your site here, so I can see?

    Twitter will show a summarized link (i.e yoursite.com/xyz…), but it shouldn’t take away your twitter character limit.
