Featured articles widget and full posts on just one page?

    Hi, I have a client asking for selected articles to be displayed in a widget with a more link to a page with all her selected articles displayed as full blog posts.

    Seems to me like she wants a full page of selected blog posts to display the blog posts as full posts and a widget to display a fixed number of those articles with the articles links in the widget selected by herself.

    Are there plugins that do the same as above?
    If not I’d have to build a plug in that does as required.

    Is it conceivable that those would all be in a certain (or special) category?

    If so, seems like I saw (somewhere?) a widget that would list posts for a given cat… I’ll leave the google search as an exercise for the reader ??
