Featured Content slider

    Hello everyone,

    I just installed the Pictorico theme and was playing around with it.
    Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to access that featured content slider that is present in the demo. The closest thing I can get is: Appearance > Customize > Header Image.
    But this will display a static image, not what is shown in the demo.

    Can anyone give me some directions?

  • Hi there – to use the featured-content slider you’ll need the Jetpack plugin, which has the Featured Content capability built in.

    Once Jetpack is active, to set up Pictorico‘s post slider:

    1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
    2. Enter the name of a tag.
    3. Click the blue Save button at the bottom.
    4. Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 1180px wide.
    5. Give the post the tag you declared under Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
