Featured Content Slider not working on my Blog page

  • I am using Suffusion theme (V 3.9.2) and trying to put “Featured Content Slider” on static “Blog” page that I have. For some reason it is not showing there, if I put it on any static page, the slider works fine, but for Blog page it is not working. I want to show it on Blog page itself – how can it be done?

    A bit about “Blog” page – it is a static page created and then assigned as as “Posts” page in WordPress ‘Settings >> Reading’.

    How do I get this working?
