Featured Image

Is there a way to remove the featured image from displaying on posts? (Not the parallax one, just the regular one that appears before the text.) I don’t want to delete it completely from each post because then there will be no thumbnail when I share the post. It is repeating the photos that are in the article, plus it is pushing my article waaaaay down the page.

Any way you can offer me a solution?
