Featured Image

  • On a new page, when I go to “Set Featured Image” and then subsequently to the Media Library its empty
    If I upload a new Image and then use it to “set Featured image” it fails to appear on my Page
    Also as soon as I dropout the Media Library page and then return, the uploaded file has vanished
    Presumably this is why the Media Library is permantley empty

    All of this has developed since WP auto-updated to 4.9.1

    Go to wp-content/uploads and check images exists or not?

    You have lost me here. I cant find Wp-content on the WP Dashboard, then I read I need to FTP my server to view this folder ?
    Trouble is I have taken this site over from another party. I think the domain was supplied by Big Daddy and using Whois the Dns is with Wix.com
    I have no Ftp login details to access Wix
    Any more ideas which will assist me ?

    Found that folder and its empty
