Featured image added but not showing in preview

    I have been noticing that the yoast preview in the page editor doesn’t always show the featured image. Most times, you add the featured image and it pops up right in the preview but not every time. Is there a file size limit or special dimensions I should use? I have tried the Facebook size and 16:9 ratio and it still fails to show for certain images. Second query: I sized my social images to 1200×630 which is recommended on most the blogs I looked at. It does not fill the box on the preview. Why? How will it be displayed? Cropped?

    We are afraid to say that we are not aware of an issue specific to the Yoast SEO Snippet Preview where it fails to show the image thumbnails. We can confirm the image size you’re using is fine. In this case, can you please confirm how can we reproduce the issue on our end? Are there any steps that we can follow to reproduce the relevant issue?

    Image size for social media
    Different social media websites recommend different image dimensions. The preview you see in the Yoast SEO meta box gives you an idea how the post will look like when sharing it on social media. This means it may not match 100% accurately due to a number of factors (social media sites continuously update and experiment with the site, image size, and ratio, etc.)

    That said, if you share the relevant page on social media, do you see the image thumbnail filling up the box correctly?
