Featured Image alignment problem

  • Hello,

    every blog post on my site begins with a large featured image.
    see for instance https://peelroutes.wordpress.com/2021/03/05/grotelsche-heide/

    As you check that page, you will see that the featured image size changes after one second. First the title and publish date are not fully visable, than something changes and the site looks good.

    How can I make the transition go away? I want the page to be shown correctly immediately.

    Thanks, hope you understand my problem.
    I have this issue on every post, not only the examble used above.

    I can see the featured image loads slowly, which is most likely because of the size of the image – is that what you’re describing?
