Featured Image/Category Panels Not Showing

    I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong, but there are no sidebar panels with the Featured Image or Category options. I checked Preferences in Glossary and they are both turned on.

    I must be doing something stupid but I’ve looked everywhere as to how to turn these on. No issues with such sidebars panels on any other WP page/post area or from within any other plugin.

  • Are you talking on the glossary term frontend you are not getting any sidebar?
    This is something that doesn’t depends on our plugin but on your theme.

    Yes the Glossary term front end where you create new terms. See screenshot:

    I checked all my settings, screen options, etc, and this only happens in Glossary. I have my sidebar in every other WPAdmin area where its necessary.

    So we are talking about the wordpress backend, the frontend is the one that is public.
    This is the gutenberg editor and there is a button to hide that sidebar in any post you can see also in the screenshot an icon in the top right, on the left of the 3 dots that is a square with a rectangle.
    Press this and the sidebar will reappear.

    Lordy. Ive been using WP for 15 years and that’s never crossed my synapses. I use Fusion Builder and rarely ever Gutenberg so maybe I can blame “workflow ignorance”. I am going to crawl back into the hole I just came out of and take my public flogging with humility. I deserved this.

    When I did a rollover and it said “Settings” that never dawned on me that it basically meant the sidebar. I opened the three dots, went into Preferences, tried different Modes, tried everything else. Not sure how it got disabled.

    Happens but probably you pressed that button and closed the sidebar.
