Featured image disappearing

    Weird thing happening … I edited variations on a product and after I saved the featured image disappeared! Then I went to add it back and can’t find it in the media library. If I upload it again, it appends -1 to the end of the file name like it’s still there somewhere. If I go to the URL for the original image, it’s there, but not in the Media Library.

    It happened twice so it wasn’t just a fluke. Anyone else have such weird behavior?

    This is very odd. I have tested this in a fresh WooCommerce installation and I could not reproduce the same issue.?Does it happen only when you edit variations?

    You’ll first want to do a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict. The best way to determine this is to temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called?WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/
