featured image disappears after saving

  • Hi there,

    when I create a new portfolio post or blog post or page, every time I hit the publish or update button the featured image disappears and therefore not showing up in the frontend as well. Here is my website: https://www.rainertaepper.com

    Any Ideas?

  • May be it is due to missing GD extension in the server.

    can you tell host to please check it GD extension is installed or not for image manipulation ?

    Hello Sakar,

    thank you for your reply.
    I have downgraded my wordpress version to 4.5.4 and now everything works perfect.
    I leave it like that for now…
