Featured image doesn't display on Facebook
-
When I attempt to post a page from my site to FB, FB displays the photo of me from the home page — https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/TimProfile.jpg — rather than the “feature image” I upload on each of the individual posts.
For example, when I run this page:
https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/featured/whos-that-knocking-at-my-door-morning-file-thursday-june-18-2015/
through FB debugger, it shows the image (of me) I don’t want, and not the featured image that I had set for that page, which is this:
https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/whos_that_knocking_2.jpg
I set a different feature image for each post.FB debugger gives me this message:
“Object at URL ‘https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/featured/whos-that-knocking-at-my-door-morning-file-thursday-june-18-2015/’ of type ‘article’ is invalid because the given value ‘en’ for property ‘og:locale:locale’ could not be parsed as type ‘enum’.”I know the feature image is big enough (it’s 600 x 300 pixels).
I have no idea what “en” or “enum” mean.
There are only four choices in the Facebook Open Graph settings. I keep playing around with them, trying different arrangements to get it right, but with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
