featured image -> external link

  • Hi Anders,

    Is there any way to make a feature image link to an external address ?
    Maybe modifying a htaccess ?

    To be more precise : it’s clicking on one of the pictures on the main page that I’m talking about (not clicking on the featured image at the top of the post page). sorry for the wrong vocabulary.

    Hi @romainkr,

    Not with any built-in settings or a plugin – you’d need to copy over the content.php file to a child theme and modify the output of the featured image link there. You’d also need to use some sort of custom field plugin, like ACF, to set the URL for the images on each post.
