Featured image extraction

  • Hi there. I’m currently using Wpematico to create post that are shared on social media. However, Wpematico cannot extract the featured image from the rss feeds although I’m sure it is possible since other plugins parse the rss feed and html article and allow me to repost on twitter and telegram with the featured image and title tags.

    I’ve tried with the following settings:
    Setup (A):
    Use Featured Image from URL` -> it does not add the relative tag in the post

    Setup (B):
    Store images locally.
    Attach Images to posts.
    Use srcset attribute instead of src of <img> tag.
    Set first image in content as Featured Image.
    Use Featured Image from URL` -> it does not add the relative tag in the post

    Setup (C):
    as Setup (B) plus Full content plugin
