featured image- how to hide in posts & pages?

  • I added a featured image to a page, and it’s displaying in the front-end view, HUGE, and as if I had manually pasted it into the body/main content of the page.

    1. So, how do I disable featured images from appearing on pages?

    2. How do I disable them from appearing in individual posts? (I’m looking for you guys to add a check box option that appears in the post editor, so we can enable/disable featured image displaying in the post for each post).

    3. How do we get the featured images that we do want to appear inside of posts to be a different, much smaller size? Right now, 2016 is displaying the featured images HUGE.

    UPDATE: #3 is no longer an issue for me. Well, not officially an issue. They still display huge instead of a thumbnail or preview size, or letting us choose.

    For #2, I tried a few different things, and not a one of them worked.
