Featured Image improperly croping width. PLEASE HELP

  • Hey Guys,

    I’m new to wordpress and Im trying to figure out why when i post an image it crops it for width even if i ask ti to crop for length.
    The php I’m using is
    add_image_size( ‘neptune-thumbnail’, 250, 9999, true);

  • you are asking it to crop for width….

    250 = width
    9999 = height

    not sure what you mean by length

    Does that some hoe effect fiels at upload? Because even if I make it 9999 250 it doesn’t change at all.
