• Great theme – if I can get the post images to display right! I’m currently using the Fukasawa theme, which has a very clean design and works well, I tried to switch themes to Miyazaki and it looks very good on the home page, but when I click on a particular image, that post’s image loads in a very low resolution, as if it is using a thumbnail. The featured images on the Fukasawa themed site are (for example 970 x 690 px) working fine there, what resolutiom should I be using for Miyazaki?

    Hi @wpborg20,

If you uploaded the images while Fukasawa was the active theme, WordPress would have scaled the the featured images to match the size in Fukasawa. When switching to Miyazaki, which displays the images much larger, the small images are scaled up.

You can try installing and running the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin when you have Miyazaki active. That will update the image files to match the resolution used in Miyazaki (if the original version of the image has a high enough resolution).

The resolution used for the featured images in Miyazaki is 1870 pixels wide.
