Featured Image In RSS

I’ve looked at this tutorial but it seems to be showing the featured image in thumbails instead of full

Did you remember to set the desired image size for wp_get_attachment_image_src? Use full instead of medium or thumbnail.

In case that wasn’t clear, your chosen answer uses the get_the_post_thumbnail() function with none of the optional arguments.

From the documentation (the link above), this function can accept an optional $size argument to control the size of image fetched, with the default being post-thumbnail if no size is indicated.

The answer left out this optional $size argument, that’s why you’re getting the thumbnail size.

So my admittedly terse response above was for you to look at the documentation for the function used, and pass the size argument yourself:-D. I’m not really a developer, but perhaps something like this should work:

get_the_post_thumbnail( $post->ID, 'full')

You can try this code:

    return $content;
}
add_filter( 'the_excerpt_rss', 'wplogout_post_thumbnails_in_feeds' );

Btw, how does RSS work on WordPress? if someone clicks on an article on the category page, will it lead to our website, or is it still on the RSS feed page?
Because when I preview the RSS feed on one of my articles, nothing appears
