We are swapping an email about something else though.

I’ve gone through all the support request, and having trouble finding the corresponding email. Wonder if it got lost (we did have an issue with our ESP).

Were you able to resolve this issue? I’m having the same problem. It does print images in the article but does not recognize the featured image.

Unfortunately not, this is something the plugin author needs to address. The plugin is only grabbing the image in the content, not the featured image.

We need sample URLs which are experiencing the problem. Depending upon your theme/plugins the way featured image is inserted in the content varies.
