Featured Image is not working correctly

  • My site is suffering from a CLS since quite some time and I was wondering what is causing the CLS which appears just on blog-posts. So, I have throtteled down the speed in Chrome DevTools to a very very slow connection that you can see the loading of the website in slowmotion and it seems that the featured image causes the problem. The placeholder that is loaded by the browser is to tall and than collapse to a smaller size and all the text after the featured image is shifted around. How can I fix this?

    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://forum.tagdiv.com

    Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Dear James, but I’m writing all the articles with the Gutenberg Editor and also set the featured Image with that Editor. Everything was ok until the Last WordPress Update.

    I have already contacted the Theme Developer, but they have no Idea what happened.

    The editor doesn’t control whether or not the image appears, that’s up to the theme.
