Featured image issue

  • Hello, for some reason I have been having an issue where I’m not able to upload a featured image on my about page from my mobile device. I click on *set featured image* then upload the photo (with the recommended size). After that; the image loads but doesn’t give me an option for alt text or caption, then it disappears after I go to preview the page. This is really holding me up from continuing to create my blog. Thank you!

    Thanks for getting in touch, and thank you for using Kale- we really appreciate it!

    The theme unfortunately doesn’t control this aspect of the site…typically in WordPress, when on mobile, the alt text and caption have to be added from the Media Library (Media > Library).

    It’s possible that the theme settings may be affecting the preview, though…here’s a link to the documentation with a screenshot- is it possible that your featured images are currently disabled in the page options?
