Featured image minimum dimensions?

    Should anyone know the answer, please let me know:

    I’ve encountered that there seems to be a minimum dimensions for a featured image to be shown. WP allows to set a picture to be set as a feat, but it is not displayed, the frontpage featured is shown instead.

    I’m using a customized tiny full width child theme and Jetpack plugin (Photon enabled).
