Featured image not imported

  • What could be the reason that the featured image is not being imported?

    I have checked the download and import box, but featured images are not being imported.

    • The site where the export file is from is still online, I am even logged into that WP version.
    • No console errors during import
    • No WP debug errors
    • No errors in the server log (both source and destination)
    • Even with all other plugins disabled
