Featured Image not saving or displaying with some posts

    Hi, I am having an issue with some posts not saving or displaying a “Featured Image”. The featured image will display if I prieview the post and when it is saved as a draft however once I click publish, the “Featured Image”disappears from the related edit post page and does not display on the “Live” page of the site.     Hello,

    The theme does not handle the process of saving or removing featured images from posts and pages.
    The theme only displays them if they are set.

    If you are having issues saving them, then the issue is somewhere else.

    I have resolved the issue.

    Firstly I disabled all plugins and tested and the images worked as I would expect.
    I then reenabled each plugin one by one and testing after each was enabled to try to isolate the culprit.
    I found that the “offender” was the FPW Category Thumbnails plugin.
    Next was to have a look at the settings and sure enough there was a setting to override it’s default behaviour. “Do not overwrite if post/page has thumbnail assigned already”. So I have selected that option and now all seems well.
