Featured Image Not Showing

  • WP newbie, so everything is overwhelming, but I’m getting through it. Great software!

    Can’t get featured image to appear in pages (or posts). I can assign it, and it shows in the editor, but doesn’t appear when the page is viewed.

    I’m using the Virtue theme (2.4.9), which appears to be very nice, but can find no theme option that might affect this issue.

    Have seen a number of discussions related to this issue — mostly for posts not pages, and mostly with much older versions of the software. Have found no fix yet.
