Featured image not showing

    So far maintenance mode is working fine, but there is one issue for me.

    I set a featured image for the home page. It will show in edit mode, and when I use the “preview” feature in WP. But it will not show when I use the “visit site” tab. It also does not show when I use the “customize” feature.

    I took the site out of maintenance mode for a minute to look at the front page. The image is not showing.

    Why does it show in one mode and not another? I’ve tried other images and different sizes.

    I am using Windows 10 and the twenty twenty theme.

    I found the issue.

    I had been getting the featured image on all the pages and posts so I had gone to Content Options and unchecked “display on pages.” I checked it again and the image is shown only on the home page. (for now.)

    It doesn’t seem to be a WP Maintenance Mode-related issue. But I am glad to hear you found a solution.
