Featured image only shown for email sent from laptop, not phone

    Dear team,

    I LOVE your plugin, and will also purchase some add-ons, like the auto-category one.

    However, the problem I’m facing is that a featured image will only show for emails sent from my laptop, not from my phone. I installed the support plugin and sent one email each from my two devices. I’ll email it to you, referencing this support inquiry I created.

    Your laptop and your phone assemble the images for the message quite differently.

    The laptop email includes the image as a standard email attachment, however, the phone image is a inline data stream.

    Laptop:

    Phone:

    <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAQQAAAEYCAIAAAA1fh+9AAAgAElEQVR4..." alt="">

    Since the image coming from the phone isn’t really an attachment, Postie doesn’t see it and doesn’t add it to the media library and therefore can’t find an image to be the featured image.

    Depending on what email client you’re using you might be able to change how images are sent in emails.
