Featured Image option not showing on edit

I guess You didn’t have enable featured image option from screen option . Please enable it.

There isn’t this “featured image” option on my printscreen, I made the printscreen with the “Screen Option” tab open for you to check.

I had to add add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' ); to featured-content-functions.php and now there is this option.

Please add this code in your theme function.php file.
Your theme author has not given Featured Image support for the theme thats why you were not able to see the the box.
