    Hi,

I have two blogposts, both I have set the featured image.

In this article the title of the blogpost is visible on a blue background.

However, in this post the title of blogpost is gone (which I don’t want) and seems to be replaced by the featured image and the image title and image caption.

My biggest question however is why, when both blogpost have feature image set, one shows it and the other not?

    Kind regards,

    Willem

Hi, I wondered if there is already more clear about this problem. Thanks.

I designed the theme to pull the title from the featured image. That’s definitely how I want it to work for pages. That way, instead of a page title you can put whatever you want. For consistency, posts with featured images work the same way. Would it be possible for you to just set the text on the featured image to what you want the page title to be?

    Hi Tim,

I don’t talk about pages here, both are blogposts, both have featured image set, but behave differently.

Hi, Sorry I didn’t quite answer your question originally. If the featured image is 1170px or wider, it will be displayed as the post header and pull the title and subtitle from the image itself. That is what is going on with your second page above. For your first page above, the image must be <1170px wide and in that case, its not used in the post header at all. So the default blue background displays. I hope that clears things up!
