• Using ToolBox 1.4 Theme by Automatic in WordPress 3.3.1

I have two WordPress installations with the configuration above. I worked on the first and an associate worked with the second.

In the first installation I have the “featured Image” editing box on the right side of my page edit screen.

In the 2nd install there’s no such display.

There’s no Screen Option (above) to click to display this feature in the second install.

    1st install Screen Options:

Custom Field Template, Custom Fields, Discussion, Comments, Slug, Author, Revisions, Page Attributes, Featured Image

    2nd install Screen Options:

Custom Field Template, Custom Fields, Discussion, Comments, Slug, Author, Revisions, Page Attributes

Can I get this feature working in my second install?

Thanks for any help on this.

  • Are both installs on exactly the same server? Are they both using exactly the same plugins?

No. Not the same server. Not exactly the same plugins.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks. I’ll give all that a try.

    Hi,
I have the same problem: the featured image box disappears only if I use Toolbox 1.4.
I’m running WordPress 3.2.1 and I have no plugin activated.
    Thanks

I just tried in 2.9.2 and it still doesn’t work.

    Thanks

Try this, for me has worked!

just add that string to the functions.php and let me know!
