Featured Image Settings Aren't Changing

So on the customize panel I noticed there are featured image settings that we can edit and control but I’ve tried to save the alterations I made but when I go back to the site view of the Home page, nothing has changed. I don’t know why it won’t change but it would be of great help if I could get it to.

If anyone can help me resolve this problem it would be a huge help. My version appears to be Chocolat 1.1.14 (Which I’m assuming is the latest, if not, I would appreciate a link to the lastest, maybe my issue has already been patched and I’m struggling for nothing) Thank you for your time!
