• Trying to adjust themes I come to realize that I’d need to dig in too deep into the themes to make the post meta key “thumbnail_html” to work… IT would only cause more problems down the road, when I change a theme, or when it would be updated… hence I wondered if the easier solution would be to enable the transfer of the featured post data to the main blog…
Or if I should step away from this plugin and use a different one.

Does anyone have a working solution to add the thumbnails from source blogs on the main blog?

Or have an alternative plugin that can do this?

    Thanks in advance

Don’t think this will work either.

Here is an excerpt from a support thread on the topic

“From my testing and checking, it does NOT indeed migrate the _thumbnail_id field, and I have to believe a lot of that is because it would require also importing into the aggregated website, due to how featured images and attachment IDs work. What I did see and find with my tests is that there are meta fields with meta keys of “thumbnail_html” and “thumbnail_html_thumbnail” by default.”

I used another plugin, which copies the whole post to the main site… and use a “no index” on the main site.

    “Multisite Post Duplicator”, works fine…
