Featured Image Thumbnails

    Hi there,

    I have been trying to figure this out for some time, but it’s been difficult because it seems I’m trying to accomplish the opposite of what other similar support threads have been seeking.

    I want the featured images on my feed (which is the main page of my site) to appear as squares (i.e. they will be automatically cropped).

    I initially attempted to download and run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin, but this actually turned the majority of my featured image thumbnails into rectangles again (displaying the entire image on the main page).

    Is there a way that I can make the main page display all thumbnails as squares, but keep the images as is in posts?

    At first, thank you for your response and for choosing our theme.

    We understand your request, but as we see on your website, all the thumbnails presented on the homepage appear as squares, width 300px and height 300px. Please see the screenshot: https://imgur.com/AUTThDC

    Hi, thanks for your quick response.

    That’s strange, as I am not seeing the same thing. Is there a reason that thumbnails might be displaying differently in different places? I have cleared my cache.

    Weird, anyway it should be related to the caching.

    1. The reason for the issue can be your installed plugins, please deactivate them one by one and you will able to catch the which one was the source for the issue.

    2. If you want to not lose all the changes made with the plugins, please install 3rd party plugin staging, clone your website database and make the changes on the cloned staging site, here is the video guide to better understand how it works.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtY-q5BBpeE
